Assembly speaker lauds INEC for conducting ‘most credible’ election in Ondo

The Ondo State House of Assembly speaker, Olamide Oladiji, has lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of “the most free, fair and credible election in the history of the state.”
Mr Oladiji said this in a statement congratulating Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his victory at the Saturday poll, saying the governor’s landmark achievements paved the way for him.
The speaker, who described Mr Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a testament to the people’s love for the governor, also commended the security agencies for ensuring transparent and smooth election conduct.
Mr Oladiji said he delivered his polling unit and ward in Ondo East Local Government Area, where Mr Aiyedatiwa and APC won overwhelmingly.
The speaker assured his constituents that he would maintain harmony and drive development in the state.
Mr Oladiji pledged that the legislative arm of government would continue to support the present administration in its various developmental programmes aimed at putting smiles on the faces of individuals.
