Asake announces ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’

Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has announced his highly anticipated “Lungu Boy World Tour.”
The announcement came via a post on social media platform X, where the artiste shared a picture detailing the countries and cities he will visit.
The tour will begin in Portimão, Portugal, on June 20 at Afro Nation. Asake will head to London, UK, for the Wireless Festival on July 13 before going to North America.
His U.S. stops include performances at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on August 16, Afro Nation in Detroit, Michigan, on August 18, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 21, Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on August 24, YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on August 28, and the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York on August 30.
The European leg of the tour features shows in Cologne, Germany, at Palladium on September 15, AFAS Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on September 24, UberEats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany, on September 28, and Zenith Arena in Paris, France, also on September 28.
The tour concludes with performances in Dublin, Ireland, at 3Arena on October 1 and Promiseland in Gold Coast, Australia, on October 6.
The artiste also said he has an album on the way, making it his third album. “New Album OTW,” he said.
The ‘Omo Ope’ crooner has rapidly ascended in the music industry with his blend of Afrobeat, Amapiano, and Fuji music.
Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, Asake first gained attention with his breakout single “Mr. Money” and has since released a string of hits resonating globally.
Asake has become a prominent figure in the Afrobeat scene, earning numerous accolades and a dedicated fan base.
