Apple co-founder Wozniak hospitalised after fainting at World Business Forum in Mexico City

Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder, was on Wednesday hospitalised in Mexico City due to a possible stroke.
Mr Wozniak, 73, was taken to the hospital at 3:00 p.m. after fainting minutes before his participation at the World Business Forum (WBF) in the Mexican capital’s Santa Fe neighbourhood.
According to CNN, the scientist and tech entrepreneur were billed to speak at the business conference.
Sources said Mr Wozniak might have suffered vertigo, a sensation of motion or spinning often described as dizziness.
Mr Wozniak, aka Woz as he is known in Silicon Valley circles, famously designed the Apple I and Apple II computers, which revolutionised personal computing and established Apple as a market leader.
He co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs to launch and grow the company in 1976 and invented the first Apple computer.
Mr Wozniak was the technical engineer behind the systems, while Mr Jobs was the visionary and marketing expert.
The two founded Apple, now the world’s most valuable company, in Mr Jobs’ California garage.
Their business pioneered personal computing and became the world’s most valuable company, known for the design and functionality of a range of consumer electronics, including laptop and desktop computers and the iPhone mobile phone.
