APC stakeholders laud Sani’s rural transformation drive in Kaduna LG

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State have commended the rural transformation initiative of Governor Uba Sani in their locality and the state at large.
The stakeholders gave the commendation during a tour of some completed and ongoing projects undertaken in Kachia by the state government.
The projects toured included a solar-powered borehole for a sedentarised pastoralist community at Tudun Agebu and an ongoing upgrade of Government Secondary School Laduga.
The other project was the upgraded General Hospital, Kachia.
The commissioner for agriculture, Murtala Dabo, explained that the project at Tudun Agebu sought to provide access to clean water and pasture for herders and their animals.
According to Mr Dabo, such infrastructural provision improves the productivity of the livestock and reduces herder-farmer clashes often caused by the movement of herders.
He said, “This is one of the revolutions in the agricultural sector by Governor Uba Sani in Kaduna State. When you have this infrastructure in place, the volume of the milk the cows give is enhanced from one to 3.5 litres because they don’t expend energy roaming. We have 19 of these pastoralist communities across the state and this one right here is a sample.’’
The community leader, Ardo Ahmadu Agebu, thanked the state government for the initiative, saying that it would allow for better management of their livestock.
Speaking at GSS Laduga, currently being upgraded, the chairman of the APC stakeholders, Abdulmalik Durunguwa, said the Sani-led administration’s focus on development in the rural areas would foster unity and give everyone a sense of belonging.
He appealed to the state government to hasten the completion of the school, noting that it was the only secondary school in the area.
On his part, the school’s principal, Musa Adamu, expressed delight at the state government’s efforts to transform it.
Mr Adamu decried that the shortage of manpower and lack of facilities and learning materials had for many years negatively impacted the students’ performance.
At the General Hospital, Kachia, the council’s chairman, Manzo Maigari, said the facility was dysfunctional for long before its comprehensive upgrade by the present government.
He urged the government to consider turning the facility into a teaching hospital for the newly established Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia.
“Upgrading the facility to a teaching hospital for the university would be ideal given the improved level of infrastructure and facilities on offer,” he added.
The stakeholders collectively applauded President Bola Tinubu and Mr Sani for the great attention being given to Kachia by the present administration.
They promised to return the favour by working round the clock to ensure that both leaders were re-elected in 2027, to keep up their good works.
