APC distributes materials for ward congresses in Benue

The All Progressives Congress on Wednesday distributed materials for the conduct of ward congresses in Benue.
Performing the ceremony at the APC state secretariat in Makurdi, Auwalu Ishiye, chairman of the Ward/Local Government Committee for Benue, said the exercise would be across all 276 wards.
Mr Ishiye assured that the exercise would be hitch-free.
The chairman said each ward would elect 27 officials and 10 delegates who would participate in the forthcoming local government and state congresses.
The organising secretary, James Ornguga, revealed that all those who purchased forms were screened and certified by the screening committee.
Mr Ornguga also said the return of the purchased forms showed that all aspirants were unopposed in Benue.
