Anthony Anderson, Osas Ighodaro to host 2022 Headies Awards

Accomplished actors Anthony Anderson and Osas Ighodaro will both host tonight’s Headies Awards holding at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, Atlanta, U.S.
American actor Anthony is an Emmy award nominee and comedian popular for his role as Dre on ABC sitcom Black-ish. Nigerian American actress Osas would also be on stage duties.
The top Nigerian music awards is being held outside the country for the first time in its 15 year journeny. Yet, it promises to put the best of Afrobeats, Nigerian fashion, music and culture to a global display.
Organisers have added new categories to this year’s award: The International Artist of the Year category. This is a voting award category for non-African artist(s) or group(s) with the most outstanding achievements and impact on Afrobeats. The nominees are Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Beiber, and Nas.
