Ancelotti confirms Casemiro set to leave Madrid for United

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that defensive midfielder Casemiro is set to leave the Spanish giant for Manchester United.
“I have spoken with Casemiro. He wants to try a new challenge. We understand his decision,” Ancelotti said Friday at a press conference.
Ancelotti wished Casemiro well, saying the club cannot stop the player’s wish.
Casemiro, 30, joined Madrid in 2013 from Sao Paulo. Rated as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, Casemiro has made 222 appearance for Madrid, scoring 24 goals.
He has won five Championship League titles and three Laliga titles with the Spanish giant.
The Brazilian star will be United’s fourth signings this summer transfer window once the deal is concluded.
United have signed Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez earlier in sumer transfer window.
However, they have had a woeful start to their season, losing their first two games under Erik Ten Hag to lowly Premier League side Brighton and Brentford.
