Mr Ribadu, in a statement shared on X, said the visit followed earlier engagements held in Washington.
He stated that the U.S Congress delegates at the meeting were Mario Díaz-Balart, Norma Torres, Scott Franklin, Juan Ciscomani and Riley Moore.
The NSA noted that the United States ambassador to Nigeria, Richard Mills, was also at the meeting, which held in Abuja.
Stating the gain of the top-level meeting, Mr Ribadu stated that the engagement would further deepen trust and collaboration to counter terrorism and achieve regional stability.
Mr Ribadu said, “This morning, I received a U.S. Congressional delegation on a fact-finding mission to Nigeria, following our earlier engagements in Washington, D.C., on shared security priorities.
“Discussions focused on counter-terrorism cooperation, regional stability, and strengthening Nigeria–U.S. strategic security partnership.
“I’m optimistic this engagement will deepen trust, collaboration, and shared commitment to peace and security.”
