Akwa Ibom: Governor Umo Eno’s wife dies

The first lady of Akwa Ibom, Patience Umo Eno, has died.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno, following an illness,” a statement by Ini Ememobong, the commissioner information, said on Friday.
Governor Umo Eno thanked all those who stood by his wife when she was in the hospital, adding that further details of her burial would be made public.
