Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar has urged officers to internalise the principles of accountability and professionalism in all Nigerian Air Force logistical operations.
Mr Abubakar made the call at the 2024 Logistics Conference on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said proactive logistics support would enhance the efficiency and resilience of NAF’s supply chains, directly contributing to the high serviceability rates necessary for sustained airpower delivery in furtherance of national security objectives.
He also urged them to embrace innovation, uphold discipline and work with an unyielding commitment to achieving his command philosophy.
Mr Abubakar said that achieving logistical feats required focused investment in capacity building of logistics personnel.
He said that NAF’s logistics personnel were trained in predictive analysis to forecast maintenance schedules, spare part requirements and resource allocation.
