Afrobeats singer Wizkid loses mum

Nigerian afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has lost his mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun.
According to reports, Mrs Balogun died in the early hours of Friday.
Though the singer is yet to make an official statement, his manager, Sunday Are, confirmed the story to Punch newspaper.
“Yes, she died this morning, at about 1:30 a.m.,” Mr Are said.
Condolence messages have been pouring out on social media from fans, music lovers and wellwishers alike.
