Afghan police have busted seven-member gangs of thieves in recent operations in the capital of Kabul, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement on Monday.
The arrested members were involved in criminal activities, including armed robbery and theft in parts of Kabul city.
The statement added that the arrested men had confessed to their crimes.
Meanwhile, police have apprehended 45 people on charges of involvement in criminal activities in the vicinities of Nimroz, Kunduz, Kandahar, and Herat.
Others are Paktia and Samangan provinces, the ministry said in separate statements on Sunday.
