Adamawa Governorship: Supreme Court reserves judgment in Binani, Fintiri case

The Supreme Court has reserved judgment in the appeal filed by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate, Aisha Dahiru (Binani), against Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
After listening to the parties’ arguments on Monday, the John Okoro-led five-member panel adjourned the case for judgment.
Ms Dahiru is challenging the victory of Mr Fintiri in the governorship election and praying the court to overrule the judgment of the Adamawa election petition tribunal and that of the Court of Appeal that had dismissed her petition.
