Adamawa Assembly receives list of Fintiri’s 23 commissioner-nominees

Adamawa House of Assembly has received Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri’s list of 23 commissioner-nominees for confirmation.
Speaker of the assembly, Bathiya Wesley, made the disclosure while presiding over the plenary on Thursday in Yola.
Mr Wesley said that the governor appealed to the assembly to consider and confirm the nominees in order to form members of his cabinet.
According to him, the date for screening of the commissioner-nominees will be communicated.
The commissioner-nominees include: Wali Yakubu from Madagali Local Government Area; John Dabari and Mary Augustina Vasumu (Michika); Usman Abdullahi (Mubi South); Tijjani Maksha (Maiha) and Dr Umar Pella (Hong).
Others are: Prof. Fintiwa Jatau (Gombi); Abdullahi Prame (Song); Job Sama (Girei); Ibrahim Yayaji (Yola North); Bello Diram (Yola South); Chief Felix Tangwami and Iliya James (Demsa).
Ibrahim Haruna (Shelleng); Kallamu Mohammed (Mayo Belwa); Adamu Atiku and Aloysius Babadoke (Jada); Emmanuel Biridimso (Toungo); Nedo Geoffrey (Numan); Titus Solomon (Lamurde); Anthony Birina (Guyuk); Mohammed Sadiq (Ganye) and Ayuba Tanko (Mubi North).
