Actress Rahama Sadau distances self from Tinubu’s campaign committee list

Actress Rahama Sadau has expressed displeasure with the inclusion of her name on the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Women Campaign Committee.
Ms Sadau, who is number 32 on the list, engaged her Twitter followers, expressing disappointment on how her name made it to the list without being consulted.
The actress, in a tweet, said her inclusion was “a big fat lie” and that she was “not aware” of how her name made it to the list, adding that she was in no way “associated with this”.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) had on October 1 released a 944-man list which included names of several influential women across all sectors.
The APC Presidential Campaign Committee, via its official Twitter account, asked everyone to collect their letters of appointment at the committee’s national headquarters.
Other celebrities on the list include Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson, Fausat Balogun, Kyatau Dilallaiya, Liz ‘Omo Ibadan’ Jay and several others, including all APC governors’ wives.
As at the time of filing this report, a spokesperson for the campaign council, Bayo Onanuga, did not respond to calls and SMS seeking for comment on Ms Sadau’s tweet.
