Abbas to seek more Arab League support for Palestinians

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says he will convey the voice of Jerusalem and Palestinian citizens’ suffering under Israel’s occupation to the Arab League Summit.
The 31st session of the Arab League summit is scheduled to be held in Algiers, Algeria, on November 1.
Mr Abbas made the announcement during a meeting with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Palestinian officials have been calling on the Arab League to take decisive positions on Israeli measures in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and provide material and moral support to residents.
