The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement for Door-to-Door Campaign on Friday launched campaign vehicles and posters in Yobe State, ahead of the forthcoming 2027 presidential elections.
The group distributed the vehicles and campaign materials at the 27th August Stadium in Damaturu.
The movement was led by its founder, Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), and National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku.
The Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, represented by his Deputy, Idi Gubana, declared total support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, describing the state as “APC from top to bottom.”
He said, “Yobe State is 100 per cent behind the President.”
He assured the movement of government’s support and noted that Yobe State had already restructured its campaign machinery from state to ward level.
Mr Tompolo, represented by Mr Asuku, said “President Tinubu’s reforms have enabled governors to pay salaries and execute capital projects.
“With this, there is need to vote for President Tinubu to continue with these good legacies and wonderful development in the country.”
Other stakeholders at the event which included the APC governorship candidate, Baba Mallam Wali, state party Chairman, Mohammad Gadaka and Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Chiroma Buba Mashio, also pledged votes for the President in 2027.
