2027: Adeleke, Oyetola inaugurate 10,000 canvassers for Tinubu’s re-election in Osun

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, on Saturday inaugurated 10,000 door-to-door canvassers for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
The inauguration, held at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo, brought together prominent political figures, including the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, members of Mr Adeleke’s administration and representatives of the Niger Delta political bloc.
Mr Oyetola said the inauguration demonstrated commitment, organisation and shared conviction in Mr Tinubu’s continuity agenda.
Represented by Bola Oyebamiji, the APC governorship candidate in the state’s August 15 election, Mr Oyetola commended party members and other stakeholders for their commitment to the President’s re-election bid.
“There is no doubt that the presidential campaign of President Tinubu is highly visible and increasingly gaining momentum across the South-West.
“This gives us an enormous responsibility to ensure that the South-West delivers overwhelming votes for our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the forthcoming general election.
“Our target of mobilising 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu in Osun is achievable if we approach the assignment with unity, discipline and determination,” he said.
Mr Oyetola urged Nigerians, irrespective of their political affiliations, to support Mr Tinubu’s continuity agenda and contribute meaningfully to the success of his re-election bid.
In his remarks, Mr Adeleke urged members of the Accord Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the APC to put past disagreements aside and unite in support of Tinubu’s re-election.
Represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, the governor said Mr Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 general election was sacrosanct.
Also speaking, the national coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door movement, Sunday Adekanbi, urged eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and mobilise support for the President across the state.
