2026 Hajj: Kano pilgrims’ board inspects facilities in Makkah

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has embarked on an official Hajj inspection visit to Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The visit is to inspect residential and transportation facilities to ensure the smooth conduct of the 2026 Hajj exercise in the kingdom.
A statement on Sunday by the board’s public relations officer, Suleiman Dederi, said its director-general, Lamin Danbappa, and chairman, Yusuf Lawan, led the inspection visit to assess the level of facilities.
“The visit is aimed at ensuring the welfare, comfort, and safety of Kano State pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj exercise.
“The board’s leadership inspected pilgrims’ accommodation in Makkah and held discussions with the chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, on strengthening cooperation and addressing operational issues.
“The board reaffirmed its commitment to working with stakeholders for a smooth and spiritually fulfilling Hajj exercise for Kano State pilgrims,” he said.
