2025 Hajj: Adamawa to transport 10,035 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia on May 14

The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission says it will commence the transportation of 10,035 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj Operations from May 14.
Abubakar Salihu, the commission’s executive secretary, disclosed this on Sunday at the closing of the pilgrims’ enlightenment programme in Yola.
Mr Salihu, represented by the director of operations, Hassan Ali, urged the intending pilgrims to put the knowledge acquired into practice for a successful and accepted Hajj.
He told them to continue to be law-abiding in Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Modibbo Safyan-Rumde, vice chairman of the Nigeria Council of Chiefs Imams of Jumu’at Mosque, urged the intending pilgrims to cooperate with Hajj officials for good guidance throughout the exercise.
He asked them to pray for peace and security in the state, country, and the nation’s economic development.
Mr Safyan-Runde also commended the commission’s executive secretary for the initiative of a replica of the Ka’aba for the successful practical aspect of Hajj.
A cleric, Abubakar Muktar, also urged intending pilgrims to understand that “Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam, which is expensive and difficult.”
Auwal and Amina Sunsi, who spoke on behalf of the intending pilgrims, appreciated the commission for the enlightenment and assured them they would represent the state well in Saudi Arabia.
