2023: Peter Obi announces campaign website, calls for donations

Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has called for donations from Nigerians to fund his presidential ambition in 2023.
In a tweet on Friday, Mr Obi announced a campaign website that, among other things, seeks donations from his supporters to fund his presidential bid.
“I invite every member of the OBIdient Family, and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit the official campaign website for the Obi-Datti Campaign organisation: obidatticampaign.com. Enjoy the Navigation,” Mr Obi said.
On the website, donors can donate through card, USSD and online transfer or donate “as anonymous.”
“Nigeria needs all patriots on board this project. We need your support to win the 2023 election,” the website reads.
A former Anambra governor, Mr Obi has garnered huge support across the country since he threw his hat into the ring on the platform of Labour Party.
Mr Obi, a frugal personality perceived as a better alternative to other candidates, is campaigning on making Nigeria a producing country, cutting cost of governance among others if elected.
He will be up against Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and a host of other candidates at next year’s poll.
