2023: Atiku submits nomination forms to PDP

Former Vice President of Nigeria and a frontline contender for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar, has submitted his Nomination and Expression of Interest forms at the national secretariat of the party.
He has also irrevocably committed himself to the enthronement of One People with One Future and One Country as a deliberate policy to fixing our broken nation and the collapsing economy for the greater good of Nigerians.
The forms, which were submitted on behalf of the former Vice President by Chairman of TEECOM and member of the PDP BOT, High Chief (Dr) Raymond Dokpesi, are a confirmation of Atiku’s preparedness to get to work to unify the country, rebuild the economy and return the PDP to its enviable heights.
Before the submission of the forms to the National Organising Secretary of the PDP, Umar Bature, Atiku had earlier in the day, in the spirit of brotherhood and common understanding, notified other contenders in the race of his intention to submit his forms in line with the on-going conversations about having a consensus candidate for the party.
It will be recalled that the North East Business Community had obtained and delivered the forms to the former Vice President barely 24 hours after the PDP opened the window for the purchase of forms to aspirants in the party. On the 23rd of March, he formally declared his intent to run for president in the 2023 election under the platform of the PDP.
