UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid defeat Liverpool, Man City beat Dortmund

Real Madrid on Tuesday night defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the first leg of Champions League quarter final.
Madrid took control of the game in the first half, netting two goals.
Vinicius Junior fired in the opener for Madrid 27th minute into the game after brilliantly a long-range pass from Toni Kroos.
Marco Asensio doubled the lead for the Spanish side in the 36th minute, leaving Liverpool devastated.
The Reds came into the second half fighting with Mohamed Salah scoring in the 51st minute of the game. But Vinicius made it three for Madrid, leaving Liverpool with a mountain to climb in the return leg.
Liverpool will be hosting Madrid for the second leg of the Champions League quarter final at Anfield on April 14.
Meanwhile, Manchester City secured a 2-1 victory over German side Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne gave City the lead 20 minutes into the game, while Marco Reus got an equaliser for Dortmund in the 84th minute.
Phil Foden’s last-minute strike gave City a narrow lead at the Etihad. City will travel to Germany for the second leg on April 4.
