The police command in Oyo has assured residents of Ilero Town in Kajola LGA of the release of the two persons abducted on Wednesday.
Mr Adebayo, whose address was not provided, was charged with unlawful possession of government property.
He alleged that the defendants broke into the bank and stole two laptops worth N800,000.
The group stated this during a demonstration, with placards-carrying protesters gathered under the bridge at Mokola Roundabout, Ibadan.
The political leaders exchanged greetings and prayed alongside the Muslim faithful for peace and religious harmony.
Mr Owolabi stressed the need for proactive measures to prevent devastating floods in the state as the full-blown rainy season approaches.
“From the intelligence report we got, there is nothing we can lay our hands on that made the inmates escape. The NCoS should inform us about what actually happened,” said the police.
He also confirmed that the officer responsible for the bullet discharge has been detained, along with other members of the team during the incident.
An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, on Tuesday ordered the remand of 11 men in prison custody over an alleged murder.
The magistrate, T. G. Daodu admitted the defendants to bail of N500,000 each, with two sureties each in like sum.
