The state counsel alleged the defendant defiled the minor by having unlawful sexual intercourse with her.
The court also awarded N500,000 as damages for unlawful and illegal removal of Mr Obasa.
Mr Nimmyel stated that the operation was conducted with commendable professionalism and restraint and no casualty recorded
“There is the need for all of us to fight this scourge that wants to destroy the future of our youth because ‘tomorrow belongs to our youth’,” he said.
The LASIEC boss sought political parties’ support for the successful conduct of the exercise.
The workers had called on the federal government to return them to their offices following the completion of the renovation of the edifice.
“Nigerians generate much power, but it is not widely distributed due to isolation. We have excess energy, but it is misdirected,” said Mr Sanwo-Olu.
He warned that imposing an outsider with no electoral history in Ojokoro would have negative consequences.

The prosecutor said the defendant broke the side glass of the vehicle and jumped out, even while in handcuffs.
