Police nab three suspected robbers in Lagos, recover pistol

The police command in Lagos says it arrested three suspects for alleged armed robbery on Friday.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this in a post he shared on his X handle @benHundeyin on Friday.
He said the police apprehended the suspects at about 2:00 p.m. in the Ibeju-Lekki area of the state.
“Officers of Elemoro Division responded to a distress call on Friday about three young men robbing passersby with a pistol.
“A loaded semi-automatic pistol was recovered from the suspects.
“The suspects led the police to the recovery of 26 live ammunition,” the image maker said.
The spokesperson said investigation was ongoing.
