National Youth Games: Lagos upstage Kwara to win table tennis gold

Abdulbaasit Abdulfatai of Kwara had rallied to grab a 2-2 stalemate after falling to Mathew Kuti of Lagos in the first two sets in the finals of the table tennis event at the ongoing National Youth Games in Ilorin.
After clinching the gold medal in the doubles event, it was a difficult situation for Abdulfatai against Kuti.
The last set of the game of five witnessed a fierce contest from the two lads before the Lagos boy eventually triumphed with the slimmest of two points against the fatigued Abdulfatai, who ultimately settled for the silver medal.
Overall, Kwara hauled two gold and two silver medals from the outing.
