Peoples Gazette highlights major happenings in the showbiz world in Gists-Of-The-Week.

This week, the entertainment industry was struck with shocking celebrity relationship feuds, one of which happened to be one of the most admired couples in the industry, the Idibias.

On September 2, Peoples Gazette reported how Nollywood actress Annie Idibia took to Instagram to call out her husband, Tuface, for sleeping with his ex-lover Pero Adeniyi with whom he shares three kids.

Shortly after her outburst online, her brother in-law Charles Idibia came online to debunk her claims and accused the actress of constantly using hard drugs and practicing “juju”.

The duo of Charles and Annie, continued their distasteful brickbat for days on Instagram.

Speculations of divorce then became rife when Mrs Idibia removed her husband’s name from her Instagram biography, leaving her maiden name, Macaulay.

However, the actress later added it back shortly after.

The couple got married in 2013 and share two kids together, prior to their union, Tuface share five kids with his ex-lovers Sumbo Ajaba and Ms Adeniyi.

Another shocking relationship fallout occurred between Nollywood actress Tonto Dike and her newly found millionaire boyfriend Prince Kpokpogri during the week.

Barely a few months after the actress announced her relationship with Kpokpogri and gifted him a car on his birthday, the duo have now parted ways, accusing one another of infidelity.

Although Tonto is yet to publicly confirm or debunk any claims however, she took to her Instagram to appreciate the blog that broke the news of Kpokpogri’s cheating escapades during their three months relationship with a now viral voice vote.

The couple proceeded to unfollow each other on all social platforms.

In the heat of the unfortunate break up, Kpokpogri took to his Instagram to publicly commend Tonto’s ex-husband Olakunle Churchill while calling the actress a “bad woman” and a “troll’.

The Delta prince proceeded to accuse the actress of infidelity and referred to their time together as a “living hell”.

“We dated for barely three months and it was more less a living hell, so much has happened in such a little time that I overlooked for the sake of the so-called relationship and my sanity,” he said.

“However, I will be releasing evidence of how anty cheated right from the start of our relationship when she traveled to Lagos,” he threatened.

The actress was married to her ex-husband Churchill in 2015 and divorced in 2017, the duo share one child.

Big Brother “Shine Ya Eye” Season 6 housemates continue to grace our screens with lots of entertainment and undiluted content as promised.

Three housemates JMK, Sammie and Maria were evicted from the show on August 29.

This week started with the usual head of house game where all housemates rolled the dice to contest for the position of the week’s head of the house, however this time there was a little twist.

Jackie B and J Paul emerged as the week’s head of the house, exempting them from possible eviction.

Nominations didn’t proceed as usual as all housemates except the head of house winners Jackie B and J Paul are up for possible eviction on September 5.

The week continued with lots of tasks for housemates to participate and claim mouth watering prices.

Housemates thrilled the viewers with lots of entertainment as they go about their tasks, occasional gbas gbos, drama, shocking revelations, and epic Saturday live party.
