Buhari extends tenure of IG Adamu

The decision was announced by police affairs minister Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi at the State House on Thursday. The development came days after Mr. Adamu’s was supposed to retire from service.
Peoples Gazette had Tuesday reported that President Buhari was weighing the possibility of extending Mr. Adamu’s tenure despite the move being an obvious breach of the new Police Act.
