Bosnian commandos shot dead child killer

On Monday, a prosecutor reported that Bosnian commandos have shot dead a man shortly after he allegedly killed a child.
According to media reports, the man reportedly opened fire on a car in Foca, which lies in Bosnia-Herzegovina populated by ethnic Serbians.
A 10-year-old boy died in that incident. No further details were available about the incident.
According to a report in the Bosnian Serb news agency Srna, the shooter suffered mental problems.
Police tracked down the alleged shooter after he barricaded himself in a building near Foca belonging to forestry officials.
He, however, did not respond to calls to give himself up and, at one point, reportedly wielded a hand grenade.
The grenade was never detonated.
Officers with a special commando unit eventually killed the man.
