2021 retirees to receive N16.67 billion pension payment: FG

On Wednesday, the federal government released N16.67 billion to pay accrued pension rights to 2021 retirees of treasury-funded ministries, departments and agencies.
This is contained in a statement signed by the spokesman for the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Peter Aghahowa, and made available to journalists in Lagos.
Mr Aghahowa said the government had earlier settled all arrears of accrued pension rights payments to the verified and enrolled retirees up to December 2020.
